2010 elite changes

A few changes I see are coming down the pipe in the elites in 2010 – the biggest shocker for me is Iaconelli’s change in rod and reel sponsor. He is now completely with pure fishing so he will be fishing Abu rod’s and reels instead of his signature series and steez reels. I would have a tough time with loyalty and turning my back on a company unless I was mistreated. Also Greg Hackney switched boats to Phoenix boats who are designed by the same guy that designed Champion boats back in the day. I guess they don’t kick a lot of boats out but a lot goes into them and I personally looked at their website and think their tackle storage is pretty snazzy. That is all for now. As this winter dwindles on I will give a full synopsis of my 3 days of riding with the pros last June. And I am hoping to Marshal again this year however I am on waiting list for Guntersville and I am currently number 47 which isn’t that good but considering I started as number 77 I guess that is good. I am call B.A.S.S. often and making a friend in the tournament department to see if she can pull some strings. I will not take no for answer. I also just read on Bassmaster.com that the elites will only be running 95 guys this year. Which I am sure the rest of the anglers don't mind but I bet B.A.S.S. would like there money. check back for updates as I am going to see if blogging gets us closer to spring any faster.
