1st to bass outings

Made it out 2 times this past week down to the miss river - where bass season NEVER CLOSES!!! – one day we had nice weather and cold high water the next outing we had cooler weather but better water conditions. On the second outing we managed one bass and had to break ice to get to it. I probably should be chasing walleyes but I would just much rather be catching bass even if it is less of them

Here is the picture of the one peanut we caught – it came on a jerkbait – and usually I am not much for doctoring pictures but the background of this picture was pretty much an address to where we were. I hope to get out one time this week but that might be a little optimistic. Best wishes to all those getting out and look out for all the debris and ice floaters!!!
